Reading Lists in Canvas

Information supporting the use of the Reading List app in Canvas.

Moving a citation

To move an item in your Reading List:

  1. Hover over an item until the Drag icon becomes visible
  2. Drag and drop the item to the new location in your list

Moving a section

To move an entire section of items:

  1. Select Manage sections at the top of the list (this collapses all sections so only section titles are visible, and all other content is hidden)

         2. Hover over the section you want to move until the Drag icon becomes visible

         3. Drag and drop the section to the new location in your list

         4. If you need to rename the section, select the ellipsis on the right, then select Edit section

        5. In the 'Edit section' pop-up box, add a new name in the Title field, then select Save
