Media and Communication - Resources for Master Students

Academic skills

Developing and refining your academic skills is an important part of studying at university and will support you beyond university and into the workforce.  Having these academic skills leads to competent and productive study, writing, research and the successful completion of assignments and exams.

This section includes resources for those skills that are critical to fulfilling the requirements of university study, including academic integrity, research and evaluating sources, writing literature reviews and academic English.  Understanding and practising these components of academic study will lead to greater engagement and fulfilment in your university work.

Remember there is support available if you need help in any of these areas, through the Ask the Library Service.
