Make your outputs available via the RMIT Research Repository. The Repository is an open access repository providing free, searchable access to research publications authored by RMIT University staff and students.
If any of your outputs are not in the repository, you can report them via the Research output capture form. See the Reporting your research outputs page for information on which outputs are accepted.
Pivot-RP is a suite of online tools for researchers providing information about funding opportunities, upcoming conferences and special journal issues. You can also use Pivot-RP Profiles to search for potential research collaborators.
Once you have created your account with your RMIT Institutional Login Credentials you may be prompted to claim your profile. This is optional but recommended as it facilitates Pivot-RP sending relevant automatic funding opportunities to you and allows others to find you as a potential collaborator. This Pivot-RP profile draws on a number of data sources including your Web of Science Researcher ID if you have one.
After selecting the option to claim your profile you will be sent an email with a link to confirm.
Watch this video Setting up your account and profile in Pivot-RP for more details. RMIT has set up Pivot-RP so you can use your Institutional Login Credentials to do this.

For Pivot-RP to send you relevant funding and other opportunities it's also recommended that you edit your profile so that it’s accurate and current. This can include adding or verifying your:
ORCID iD
keywords that describe your research area
publications, grants and patents
Watch this video on Updating your Pivot-RP profile for more details.

Once you have edited your profile, Pivot-RP will send you weekly updates of new funding opportunities matched to the details you have in your profile.
These opportunities can be tagged so that you can track them.
You can also create bespoke searches of the funding database that match your research interests. If you wish you can also create email alerts for these saved searches to be notified of any new matching funding opportunities.
Watch this video on Basic Searching for Funding Opportunities in Pivot-RP for further information on how to search Pivot-RP effectively.
