EndNote: a beginner's guide

An introduction to EndNote Desktop for new users. Learn how to create a Library, add and modify references, use EndNote with Microsoft Word, add groups, add full-text PDFs, and back-up your EndNote Desktop library. Also includes EndNote Online.

Journal term lists

Journal Term Lists are used by EndNote Desktop to automatically convert a full journal title into an abbreviated version, or an abbreviated journal title into a full version. Your referencing style will specify if your journal titles need to be in full or abbreviated version.

When EndNote Desktop is installed, several Journal Term Lists are automatically incorporated in the installation, except for Earth Sciences. You will need to download the Earth Sciences Journal Term List separately.
