The AATCC (American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists) is internationally recognised for its standard methods of testing fibres and fabrics to measure and evaluate performance characteristics like colourfastness, appearance, soil release, dimensional change, and water resistance. These standards are published annually in the AATCC Technical Manual.
The British Standards Institution publishes a number of textile and clothing standards. Below are some that RMIT University Library has. You might find others in LibrarySearch - search for "British Standards Institution" and browse to find clothing and textiles standards.
ISO (The International Organization for Standardization) publishes many textiles standards. The Library has some of these in hard copy.

1. In LibrarySearch search for "International Organization for Standardization" using inverted commas "..." as shown.
(Note the US spelling of Organization with the letter z.)
2. Limit your results to Books and Multimedia using the drop-down menu beside the search box.
