ProfessionalsEvery workplace usually sets minimum standards of behaviour, appearance and ethical responsibilities.

This is often called a code of conduct or a code of ethics and can usually be found on the webpages of larger businesses, employers and professional organisations.

If not, then you may have to ask for a copy before your placement starts.

It is important to familiarise yourself and comply with the requirements of these codes at all times during your placement.

Some organisations may even supply a checklist of documents to read in preparation for the first day.
