5. To view your saved records, select the pin icon on the top right of the page to open My Favourites
6. In Saved Records, select the tick box at the top of the list to mark all references, or select a tick box for individual references
7. You’ll now see 3 options next to My Favourites. Select the ellipsis icon
8. Select Mendeley Export

9. The selected reference(s) will automatically be exported and appear in your Mendeley library.
A PDF copy will not automatically be uploaded to the citation in your Mendeley library. Add the PDF manually to the citation using the Files + button within the reference.

There are two ways to add references to your Mendeley library from a PDF. Mendeley will automatically extract the metadata from the PDFs and create corresponding entries in your library.
From Mendeley select +Add references in the top left corner, then Import file(s).

Drag and drop the PDF(s) from your computer to the Mendeley library.

2. Select Reference Type and enter details. Fill in as much information as possible to ensure the reference is complete
3. When complete, Add entry.

Create or sign-in for a Mendeley Web account. Download the Mendeley Web Importer extension for your browser. The Web Importer allows you to import papers, web pages, and other documents directly into your Mendeley library from search engines and academic databases. It is available for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge browsers.
