Referencing for Vietnam Campus: RMIT Harvard Style

General rule

  • Figure caption

- Label your table/figure with a number and give a title to the work. Use standard font (no italics).

- Cite the author(s) of the source(s) and the publishing year(s).

- If there are more than one source, list all sources in alphabetical order of author’s family name/organisation name, separate each source with a semicolon (;) followed by a space.

  • Intext reference

Refer to the table/chart by its number.

Example:

Vietnam population will be growing significantly in the next 20 years, as shown in Figure 1.

  • Reference entry

Reference screenshot of table/chart in accordance with the source(s) of the data.

If the data comes from a book, journal article or a website, you reference the book, journal article or website accordingly. Please refer to the relevant section(s) in the Easy Cite tool.
