What is SPSS?

SPSS Statistics (or SPSS) is a computer application that supports statistical analysis of large-scale data. The software has extensive capabilities in analytical reporting, graphics and statistical modelling.

SPSS access and training resources

Access to SPSS

RMIT provides access to SPSS for some staff and students. 

  • myDesktop - go to myDesktop (RMIT login required) and select IBM SPSS Statistics 29 from the Apps tab.
  • Personal device (staff and HDR students only) - to download/install SPSS on your own device: 
    • Contact IT Connect and request access to the SPSS software.
