Search tips

Login and search LibrarySearch using keywords that describe your topic, then refine your results to the resource you are wanting, such as books, chapters or journals.

  • Combine your keywords with AND to find all search terms. 
  • Use OR to find alternative words or synonyms.
  • Find "exact phrases" with quotation marks. 
  • Add an asterisk to part of a word to find all different endings and plurals. 

An example search: 

"mental health" AND  (trauma OR ptsd) AND measure*

Journals

Below is a selection of peer-reviewed journals, meaning they have been evaluated and critically appraised by a group of experts in the field, available via RMIT University Library. More can be found by searching the list of journals on the Library website.
