Students in the School of Global, Urban and Social Studies (GUSS) study in a broad range of disciplines, at levels from certificate through to PhD. We aim to enable all GUSS students to have the best possible learning experience. 

This guide has been prepared to help GUSS teaching staff to develop and share scholarly approaches that enhance learning and teaching practice. Scholarly teaching draws on current disciplinary knowledge and translates this knowledge into well designed curricula and pedagogies that are refined and developed through ongoing reflective practice. The scholarship of teaching and learning encompasses theory and practice to provide an evidence base for scholarly teaching.
