Study consultations

A team of academic skills advisors and librarians can help you with:

• study skills and assessment tasks
• assignment planning, academic and report writing, presentations, English language skills
• researching for the best information for your assessment's topic
• referencing and reference managers (e.g. EndNote, Zotero), and
• maths and science skills, including statistics, engineering, physics, chemistry and more.

Peer mentors

Peer mentors are current RMIT students who have recent experience with a course's content. They provide a casual, friendly, student-led service.

Although peer mentors are unable to help you with what academic skills advisors and librarians can help you with, peer mentors can:

• provide general assistance for coursework (e.g. tell you how they have approached a course or an assignment), and
• share general study skills and encourage academic confidence.
