Library services for RMIT alumni

Use this guide to find out about library benefits and services for the RMIT alumni community; includes how to gain free access to selected online databases, print collections and audiovisual collections.

Borrowing from RMIT University Library sites

Please note, if you are planning to visit the Library our public hours are Monday to Friday before 6.30pm. All other times including, weekends, building access is restricted to RMIT swipe card..

Vietnam Alumni are able to borrow up to 25 RMIT Vietnam Library items for a one month period with an alumni card. RMIT Vietnam Library also offers free postage for alumni loans, with return postage costs covered by the borrower. More information for Vietnam Alumni can be found at the Alumni support page.

Online Library Account

If you're accessing your LibrarySearch account for the first time for self service (including to check your loans, renewing items, and to place holds) you'll need to reset your RMIT account.

Enter your RMIT student number or registered email address, and select a new password. If you experience issues logging in, please fill out this online form and we will endeavour to activate your account.
