The Great Book Swap auction catalogue

Authors from RMIT and the community have donated a signed copy of their books for this online auction. All funds raised will go to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation. Bidding is now open exclusively to RMIT users!

How the auction works

More than 70 signed books are up for grabs, including novels, nonfiction, junior fiction, young adult and picture books! There is something for everyone in the Great Book Swap auction.

To join the auction:

  • Register as a bidder – you only need to do this once. You will need your unique Bidder ID to place a bid. There may be a short wait to receive your Bidder ID via email.
  • Click on a book in the auction catalogue below to view the listing. The current bid is in a table at the top of the page.
  • Select ‘Submit a bid’ on the listing and complete the form using your Bidder ID and the same email address you registered with. Your new bid must be greater than the current bid. Most items have a starting amount of $11.
  • You will receive an email confirming your successful bid. If you are outbid before the auction closes, you will be contacted via email and have another opportunity to bid.
  • Screen reader users: we recommend using the Chrome browser for the most accessible experience.
  • The auction closes at 12pm on Thursday 18 September. Happy bidding!
