This guide covers library information skills for REW, RMIT English Worldwide, especially "E7 English for Academic Purposes" students. 

Information covers general services and resources as well as catalogue and database searching.

English for University

English for Uni is for teachers and learners of English as an additional language, from intermediate levels upwards. The site aims to make difficult grammar and academic writing concepts easier to understand.

On this site you can learn more about:

  • Articles (a/an/the)
  • Oral presentation skills
  • The passive voice
  • Essay writing

Future materials will cover:

  • Prepositions
  • Tenses in academic writing
  • Conditional forms

    Database - Road to IELTS

    Road to IELTS is an excellent introduction to the IELTS exam and the types of tasks you will be doing. The interactive learning materials provide preparation and practice for the reading, writing, listening and speaking modules of the IELTS exam.
