SciFinder: SciFinder

About SciFinder

CAS SciFinder logo

SciFinder provides access to Chemical Abstracts and Medline.  It is the most accurate and comprehensive index for chemical and materials science. Coverage includes journal articles and patents, substance data, chemical reactions, chemical regulatory data and chemical suppliers.

Chemisches Zentralblatt has been added to SciFinder and it covers the chemical literature from 1830 to 1969. According to ACS the historical “lost” research available in the database can sometimes be an essential resource for current scientific work. To access ChemZent records, search SciFinder and when the results are displaying select View Only CHEMZENT in the top menu bar.
