Introduction

Referencing the material you have used in your research is an essential part of academic study. It is important to acknowledge the work of others and be careful not to plagiarise the material you use.

EndNote

EndNote is a software application that will allow you to build libraries of references and insert them as citations into your essays and assignments.

Using EndNote helps ensure the consistency of your references and automates much of the work of formatting references.

The Library holds regular classes in using EndNote. Book yourself into a class using the Library's online booking system. For more information see also the Library's EndNote guide.

Referencing Guides

The Library has produced a number of Referencing Guides on the various Styles used within the University.
