EndNote is a software application that allows you to build libraries of references and insert them as citations into your assignments, papers and thesis.
Using EndNote helps ensure the consistency of your references and automates much of the work of formatting your reference lists.
The software can be downloaded via the Library's EndNote Desktop page.

EndNote generates referencing styles automatically but you do still need to check that no errors have occurred.
